John Schneider
» Biographie
John Schneider est né le 8 avril 1960 à Mount Kisco à New York. A l'âge de 8 ans, il monte sur les planches pour la première fois. En 1977, il obtient un rôle aux côtés de Burt Reynolds dans le film "Cours après moi Shériff". Deux ans plus tard, alors qu'il n'a que 18 ans, il est engagé dans la série "Shérif, fais-moi peur" ("The Dukes of Hazzard") une série à succès qui durera six saisons. En 2000, il a repris son rôle dans le téléfilm "The Dukes of Hazzard : Hazzard in Hollywood". Schneider a également eu un rôle régulier dans le série "Dr Quinn, femme médecin" en 1993.
Récemment, John a réalisé et joué dans le téléfilm "Mary Christmas" aux côtés de Cynthia Gibb en décembre 2002. Il est également apparu dans "Michael Landon", "The Father I Knew", "True Women", "Night of the Twisters", "The Legend of Ruby Silver", "Texas" et dans "Desperate Journey". Il a aussi fait la voix de "The Mummy" sur "Kids' WB !"
Au cinéma, John a joué dans "The Course", dans "Ministry of Vengeance" et plus récemment dans "Lighning : Storm of Destruction".
Chanteur et compositeur respectés, Schneider a fait 487 interprétations de "Grand Hotel" et a fait 11 albums solos.
John Schneider est le co-fondateur du "Children's Miracle Network", c'est un téléthon pour venir en aide aux hôpitaux pour enfants. Depuis sa création, "Children's Miracle Network" a recueillir plus d'un milliard de dollars pour les hôpitaux américains et canadiens.
Schneider vit actuellement au alentour de Los Angeles avec son épouse Elly et leur trois enfants.
